Pracaveurope.sk
PracaVEurope.sk is a B2B marketplace connecting Slovak and Czech self-employed tradespeople with companies in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Freelancers create a free profile with their trades, documents and photos of their work. Companies find the right people and use credits to unlock contact details or publish job offers.
The platform removes the need for agencies and middlemen. Companies see a freelancer's qualifications, experience and references, while their name, phone, email and business ID become visible only after the contact is unlocked. Trust on both sides comes from mutual ratings after a confirmed job, a Trust Score and public company profiles with reviews.
Freelancers sign up through a multi-step onboarding, add their trades, specializations and documents, and can form crews with a leader as the main contact. Companies publish job offers that freelancers apply to with a single click, and can boost and export them. Credits are purchased online by card via Stripe. A company can reserve a freelancer for a set period, hiding them from other companies in the meantime. The platform also includes a filterable freelancer database, email and in-app notifications, and an admin panel with company approval, pricing and limits editable without a deploy, bulk messaging campaigns, an audit log and GDPR consents.
We built the app on Laravel 12 and Livewire 3 with Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS 4, designed mobile-first. Credit operations run in database transactions with pessimistic locking, and Stripe webhooks are processed idempotently through queues. Documents and photos sit in private S3-compatible storage and are served only through short-lived signed URLs, and uploaded images are re-encoded to WebP with EXIF and GPS data stripped. Queues and cache run on Redis with Laravel Horizon, and errors are monitored with Sentry. The code is covered by Pest tests and checked with Larastan and Pint, with CI running on every pull request.
